what is your favorite fallout game? personally although new vegas is a great game from a story-wise and lore perspective (and has some great mods too) i prefer, and have wasted over 600 hours of my life on, fallout 4
started playing the game when i got a better pc, it had been sitting on my library for years but i never played it because my system was shit, funny thing is that i never finished the fucking game, i just mod it for hours (currently building a 400+ mod new vegas desert-like modlist) and build entire cities like an autist.
i prefer it mostly because it crashes way less and is far more stable than new vegas, along with having several great mods that add ton of fun shit to the game (personal favorites are murica rising 2 and desperados overhaul) and settlement building, and also muh better graphics and shit.
fallout 76 is obviously the worst one, lack of mods, lack of freedom, horrible lag, somehow i can swear the graphics look worse than in fallout 4, no solo mode, boring mechanics. once i heard it was going to be multiplayer i knew it was going to be a disaster.
never finished 2 and brotherhood because i got bored, and fallout 1 and 3 were pretty good.
the pitt was the best dlc in fallout 3, the ending choice thing was awesome, and the unique items looked great, especially the tribal power armor.

siding with house is the only canon ending, why would someone turn against the man who saved his life after getting shot in the head, and has an arguably better chance of rebuilding the mojave

Fallout 3 because it was the first fallout game I've played.

I always play Tale of Two Wastelands (mod that mixes 3 and NV). Pretty fun running through Fallout 3 and then building my own story for how i ended up in nevada.
Still, i do find myself rushing through 3 to get to NV.

I think Fallout 2 is my favorite, i think the role-playing is much better, and i like having to walk into a town and talk to everyone. Makes me really feel like an out-of-place wanderer
