Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis?

I know we're probably all too young to be talking about this, but I'm curious. I generally prefer the Genesis' hardware (design, sound, graphics, etc.) but the SNES has a better library of games. Plus, the SNES version of DOOM is a million times better and doesn't require six gorillion expansions.

My parents were a bit schizoid with "le internet" and "le evil videogames", therefore the only consoles my brother and I had as children were the mega drive and later on the 3ds, and I grew up with it. I got so much nostalgia from it even dough I couldn't finish a single game at the time.
I think my favourite games were Alladin and quackshot, and then maybe eternal champions, the jurassic park game, and the first sonic game

I own a SNES so this is a hard one. It depends on who you are.
Genesis has Sonic 1 - 3&K
SNES has Mario 1 - World with All Stars and loads of other quality nintendo games like Star Fox and Street Fighter
So you'd assume I pick SNES, but in actuality, I'd pick genesis because I just like Sonic more.

Never said they weren't, but I did have a troon phase nonetheless unfortunately, during my teenage years. I became an adult and everything went into place, but all that to say that there's a difference between paranoia and wise prevention. Also there's this weird phenomenon were taboos become fetishized, meaning it's good to prevent, to warn against and even to forbid, but making any subject a taboo usually only leads to worse outcomes.

Also, a lot of transphobic incels also grew on the internet, the first incel here said he came on incel forums at age 10. He obviously didn't became a troon, but the results are probably as catastrophic. Age old difference between correlation and causation.
