I don't feel like arguing with a federal agent, but let's start with the following.
- Epicurus, to me, sounds like a Greek name. This means that the "philosopher" you just quoted has been dead for several millennia now. This also means that in said time period, theologians, scholars and the faithful have had enough time to explain why Epicurus is wrong in this particular instance.

That was about catholicism and protestantism. Unfortunately religion gets politicized in many cases. But how did the Catholics kill you, it was moreso the protestant Brits. Catholicism probably helped you keep your culture alive and not totally let the British assimilate the Irish. Maybe I am uninformed but atleast that's what it looks like to me. Catholicism actually helped Ireland, look at another example, Poland. Where during horrible, communist times catholicism helped unify the country together and faith ran deep in the lands which helped keep the outlook of a positive future actually alive.

Moon, I think you should actually consider going to church. Try it for yourself. You are constantly so negative, you need hope in your life and I can see it.
