I actually copied a movie I've just seen whose topic is about alien parasites that come and eat human brains to control them, and the infected have two powerful tentacles coming out from their heads, and they can open their heads in four parts. And the protagonist is a hybrid that managed to stay alive whilst having the parasite, only having one tentacle coming out from her head.
That was my inspiration, the design is from one of my irl artworks that depict a man with that mouth aslong as other deformed characters.
