Looked it up and ofc the parish was the first campaign they developed for l4d2, that's why it's so much worse.

Dead Center probably has the best level design of any L4D campaign. I wonder if they made it last

The passing was DLC so technically it's the last campaign, but according to some reddit comment i found dead center is "probably" the last one. Dead center, dark carnival, and the passing are probably the best campaigns (including l4d1 and l4d2 campaigns). Hard rain and swamp fever always seemed really forgettable and samey to me in comparison, kinda like l4d1s campaigns.

I liked Hard Rain's gimmick. Swamp Fever was the weakest one and I'm glad it's only 4 chapters long instead of 5. I think Swamp Fever is the only non-DLC campaign that isn't 5 chapters long

Swamp fever kind of sucks at parts but I do like the finale, I think it's the only one that spawns in two tanks at the same time. it'd just be a lot better if they didn't make you walk so long to get there at the start. Anyway I can easily remember all of the l4d2 campaigns, but so many of l4d1s stick together in my head. One reason probably being that l4d2's campaigns are a lot more distinct in concept.
