What does that even mean?Because it's right.
What does that even mean?Because it's right.
I don't want to argue with you, sorry. What does that even mean?
Good Lord, I just said how soyjaks are dying a moment ago, and then I behold the most quintessential thing soyjaks are meant to satirize. If that isn't proof of divinity, I don't know what is.Christianity is a strange thing, it's an obnoxious way of belief, similar to Trannies. Trannies attempt to force you to respect their made up gender identity, like how Christians force you to expect the idea that theres a wizard in the sky who does magic n shit. Most people who are Christian are very simple, too neurotypical, they suck up to authority easily, because that's what it's all about, it's about having an imaginary figure of authority guide you throughout life, and I'm not like that. I rely on logic and reasoning, not emotion and made up fantasies.
And as for how the world works, the world starts and ends at my bedroom door, I don't care about God.
Maybe you just don't wanna lose your own faith, I get that. There's no point in arguing with someone who doesn't have faith anyways, but theres honestly no point talking about it with them either. I have yet to see anyone give me a solid enough reason to have faith in God, it just doesn't concern me. It's like someone telling me to become a Muslim or something, I just don't care. I imagine that for foreigners they don't care either. The only argument people can give is that "Well, it's factual. It's the truth." but they seemingly can't elaborate on it, it just proves my point of what religion is, it's blind conformity to authority without question.I don't want to argue with you, sorry.
And I'm not really a fan of that, we live in a universe of uncertainty. Only some things can be objectively true. Others, we just don't know yet.Christian belief is deeply rooted in the idea that there are objective truths
Most of this is just mental gymnastics. The only good thing about Christianity is it's strong morals, but with that comes it's sickening sense of pride, wrath and ego of it's own, it's superior righteousness to claim that it and only it is the truth and the only truth, giving no credence to any other sense of thought or ideas. It's just stupid. If I may offer a more general philosophical perspective, Christian belief is deeply rooted in the idea that there are objective truths. If one accepts this premise, then faith is not a contradiction to reason, rather it is simply the logical conclusion that there are truths beyond which the human mind can grasp. To deny that is to claim you are omnipotent. The first sip from the cup of knowledge may offer an intoxicating taste of power, but it will not last. You will learn why tales that caution against pride is as old as time. Nothing will ever be enough to prove God to you, your fundamental worldview denies the very concept.
No, I just don't want you to get mad at me. Sorry.Maybe you just don't wanna lose your own faith, I get that. Wanna know what I believe? Who cares. It's always good to remain skeptical, its why we have opinions anyways. If religion is real, then is all science wrong? Or do we have to somehow do mental gymnastics to make science somehow fit in with religion, it's whatever. I'd rather believe things that seem more convincing to me rather than "Because I said so, okay?"
I apologize for not being one with your tribe, btw.Good Lord, I just said how soyjaks are dying a moment ago, and then I behold the most quintessential thing soyjaks are meant to satirize. If that isn't proof of divinity, I don't know what is.
I would advise you to not be so safe, my friend. No, I just don't want you to get mad at me. Sorry.
What?I would advise you to not be so safe, my friend.
Do you believe in karma?Heres the biggest trvke of this entire thread: God could be real, Muhammed could be real, fucking Santa Claus and the boogiemen could be real, earth could actually be flat, we could actually be living in a simulation and the jews are poisoning my water supply and food to make me die faster. What does it change? Nothing. I don't care.
It's all a waste of time. Mental placebo, if you will. Good for depression, I guess, "muh god says i should stay alive" well then keep staying alive pal, you'll meet your god someday. As for me though, I don't care, it changes nothing.
He believes in reddit karmaDo you believe in karma?
Nah, I don't give a shit. You live and then you die. No reincarnation, just life and death.Do you believe in karma?
I didn't ask about reincarnation.Nah, I don't give a shit. You live and then you die. No reincarnation, just life and death.
You were talking about karma, I assumed you were talking about buddhist karma, yeah?I didn't ask about reincarnation.
Can you provide an example?I face things head-on.
Life, I guess. I never really make plans for anything, I just take things as they come. Can you provide an example?
I believe in the existence of a great creator, but I do not care that it exists, I don't care as to why we exist, as far as I'm concerned, I'm just an animal. Humans are narcissistic and egotistical little things, we ignore the fact that we live alongside other species on this earth, like cats and dogs. As to whether they believe in a god, who's to say? They might aswell be as conscious as we are, but we're too egotistical, we think we have "souls" and we'd like to believe we have free will when we really don't. I suppose religion is all about believing in the idea of free-will, ignoring the fact that most of your actions are based off of neural patterns and instincts, you're easily influenced, etc. Every idea you've ever had has been influenced by something, a dream, something you saw, we take inspiration, we're prone to suggestion.r/atheism the thread
Would you consider yourself a sigma male?I don't know if theres any statistics on this but I wouldn't be surprised if people with autism were less likely to be religious, it's not in our nature. We're lone wolves, and the only great creator I need to respect is my mother.
