Buying cheap watches is a waste of money. Just save up for a while and get a nice one. You're gonna be wearing it 24/7, so it's a sound investment.
The watch in the picture was like $120, not really expensive but the crystal is sapphire and it's solar. I might buy an old Omega if i ever save up a lot of money. Vintage stuff is ideal since my wrists are small

The strap looks quite cheap. Fake plastic leather.
Yeah that's the cheap part, was $8.
I'll definitely buy a nice black leather strap down the road but even this shitty silicone one is better than the recycled nylon puke-colored strap it came with

I might get into shooting eventually. Thinking about buying a Ruger 10/22 once I get a job or maybe as a Christmas gift. Guns are cool, they're just so intricate and fascinating. Maybe I can go shoot tin cans and stuff.

How are guns fascinating? All they do is fire bullets.
The mechanical nature and engineering that goes into it, especially semi autos.
Like the process of pulling the trigger, the firing pin releasing, the primer detonating and igniting the main propellant, the bullet exiting the barrel, and (most of the time) the recoil sending the bolt back and the magazine spring chambering another round, all because of a trigger pull.
We went from muskets that fired about 3-4 rounds a minute (had to be manually loaded too) to guns that can empty a 30 round magazine in just a few seconds without much effort. It's all about refinement

Yeah but I just don't get why that's so interesting. It's kinda like cars, I just don't get how you can be a car guy.

Then what do you find interesting? Are you one of those people that prefers literature n shiet because it's more than just literal stuff?
