When Valve released CSGO, many people stuck with Source and 1.6 until the game was improved. Now, we see the same with CS2 except one huge difference is the removal of CSGO and a new development team. I feel, because Valve doesn't ever say what they are doing or give a road map, as if Valve abandoned the community in favor of esports and skins market. They stopped viewing CS as a game, and now treat it as a serious economy. They replaced a functional game with a bare bones graphics update, making it impossible to play on hardware that could run CSGO fine. So many good maps are gone. Cheaters are rampant and we haven't got back Overwatch yet. After all this, Valve decided to release a update that just adds 100 community made skins (or some random ass spray paint pattern nobody wants) behind a paywall. My teammates in my nuke game wouldn't stop talking about the M4A1 fade and how it will be worth 1k, it pissed me off so much I just started yelling NIGGER into the mic and had them vote kick me. I spent money on skins, a lot, and I realized how stupid it is. Looking back at CSS I had a glowing knife and nice weapons skins all from free mods online. Also, no old developers who have worked on previous games remain on Valve anymore. It's just sad how things get run into the ground.
