Theres no rule against botting, besides all I really want to do is make a simple extension that adds features to the schlog that the devs are downright refusing to add for some reason.
I think I've been asking long enough, and the devs are kind of incompetent, so hey, I'll become dev whether people like it or not. Well, whether they like it, since they have to install the extension, which will be completely open source mind you. As for botting, what makes it botting exactly? What's the difference between manually clicking dislike and simply having a button that does it for you? Hey, what if I made a button in my extension that automatically uploads images to imgur and then links them in dms? Quality of life shit like that, also, I could fix gifs in pfps. I can literally do shit that the devs refuse to do with a bunch of hacky js scripts that directly edit the page

So fuck em. Theres so much annoying shit on this site, I'll go fix them myself. I'll make it open source and people can contribute o algo.

You can do this via a url too, as long as you know each and every post you wanna bomb

If these things are the only problems that you face then come on, noone will join you on your dnb.blog. I am sure the admins here are busy, they probably don't find a need for this, but nevertheless just ask them to become a dev or maybe a janny at first if there's gonna be applications (no clue how jannying here works) and just get up the "corporate ladder" as to speak to get the trust of the other mods and become the dev.

I'm not going to do anytrhing that will negatively affect the site. Only add things to improve the experience. Reaction bombing is extremely negative, even though its fake reddit karma.
I wouldn't get so mad over baby's first browser extension fixing all of the issues that I have with the site and making the experience better for myself and others because Broot is dead and the admins can't do anything. I asked doll and the admins to do stuff and it takes them ages so I'm taking matters into my own hands.

Dude I have been using my like 2 line of code style auto injector that customizes the react tooltip the way I want it and I feel like I have just been given creative mode on the schlog ngl
But yeah with great power comes great responsibility.

I do think you should be given a chance doe as a developer if you really want to, but you also have to realise that i suppose the mods here have to trust you a lot to give you that power. It is a lot of responcibility and you can also fuck up a lot with developer permissions. Try to message someone. Opportunities exist everywhere.
Maybe you could try making that extension first and if it genuinely does really well with the users you could find some luck with that.
