no i just play on VU client mod servers with bots and occasionally 1 or 2 others
i think there are vanilla servers around but all botted (i know i said bots but by botted i mean the playercount says 64 but theres fucking no one)
all the vanilla aussie servers are like dead as well

BF2 is far better, bigger map + actual modding support, I actually made a chuddie mod out of it

never played bf vietnam.
make sure you downloaded the PC version of bf2, not the PS2 one (bf2 modern combat)

it was the right one pretty sure, it either didnt work or i fucked up the installation

I think this one should've work, you'd probably need a no-cd patch as well
