i hate people who can't understand that you can have morals without religion. god shouldn't be the reason you have morals, just watch the movie sausage party, as soon as they stop believing in religion they become depraved and have massive orgies. morals should be based on facts and logic, not a faith in whatever god you believe in.

you are supposed to feel disgusted by sausage party, that's the point. hedonism like that is disgusting, and it only came around because their morals were completely based off of religion. the religion was made so that the sausages could live happy lives, but as soon as people stopped believing in it their society went to shit. I've seen countless examples irl of the children of the religious being the most fucked up gooners/druggies possible. it's because as soon as they left their parents they had no morals to base their lives on. People wanted to pass on their wisdom to their children so they made religion to scare them into living happy lives, but that doesn't work. Wisdom cannot be taught, it needs to be learned through experience. only by seeing hedonism for themselves can people learn how to avoid it. When people have beliefs forced on them they end up slingshoting to the extremes on both sides of the spectrum, making it take longer for them to gain the wisdom their forefathers wanted.

I think a good example of this idea comes in the book siddartha by herman hesse. It tells the story of a guy who becomes an acetic monk, basically being homless and starving himself. he then becomes a buisiness man, buying prostitutes with his money. through the journy he goes through he learns about hedonsim and religeon.

Religion is good for hope but even more importantly, not giving up. Anybody who does rituals daily and don't give up immediately are bound to be strong which is why I recommend listening to subliminals or drawing chaos magic sigils because if you really believe in something and don't give up, you will start seeing things which could be hallucinations or maybe real. You even could see Ronald McDonald if you really believe in him.

Yes it shouldn't be 100% reason to have morals i agree but when we remove God / Institutions that keep people from chimping out and offer them a community then we get whatever the hell happened here. People start going away from social norms and that's how society gets weak.

religeon is bad, because it gives no reason to have morals other than "god said so, it's just like that, trust me o algo" so as soon as people question their belief they become shitty people
 
the worst fucking gay degen people are people who grew up with religeon, they never had any reason for their morals other than "god said so" and they hate god.
