Rant State of the soysphere

I like the idea but I honestly don't know if there are enough active users on here to sustain discussions on both the "open" side and the "exclusive" side
 
Also Doll if you want to show that you give a shit about the shlog you should probably polish up the site a bit

Cull a lot of the reacts, reduce them to < 25 reacts that all have enough nuance that at least 1 is appropriate 99% of the time. Trying to achieve perfect coverage by adding a gorillion reacts with only one niche usage each just makes the react menu cluttered and makes choosing a react at all a chore. "The perfect is the enemy of the good" as they say.

Fix up or outright delete the current CSS themes, Soyfarms is way, way better than all the other themes because it's just copied 1:1 from kiwifarms. There should be a reason to use each and every theme.

Should also merge and/or delete unnecessary and innactive boards
 
If I make it (already playing around with permissions so more than likely it'll happen), it will be open for the public to view but gatekept to where only people selected will be able to post and use it normally. Think of it as a reverse containment board. Those not selected will not be able to participate beyond viewing it, but I'm sure a thread will get made on /you/ where people can discuss the happenings in the new forum.
I prefer to cater this forum to as many people as possible, but it is difficult to balance many wants and needs versus coming off as an overbearing janny, and some of the threads that get posted are just outright garbage that are only meant to get (You)s and react bait. Somewhere where old timers and good posters can check each day, without sifting through 20 threads to see something interesting would be a nice addition to the forum I think. Maybe it's just me, but we'll see how it turns out.

That would be perfect for me because I'm literally the serious tranny, but chances are the super secret board will be for the shitposters to shitpost privately or something like that.

making it able to be viewed is a great idea, won't be too secluded from the rest of the site that way

And this is what I mean, it's an entirely selfish idea, it's about you being able to quickly get to the good stuff because the stupid fucking goyim keep posting shit on the shitpositng website
