It wasn't any online conspiracy, but when I was a small child, maybe around five or six, I thought that the "Ronald McDonald House" charity (basically a charity for sick children that's run by McDonalds) was an actual, individual house that Ronald McDonald had built somewhere using all of the money he got by founding McDonalds in order to take care of orphaned cancer patients with no parents, like he built some random cabin out in the middle of the woods that bands of children would journey to (Children's Crusade style) in order to be divinely healed of their cancer.
