Hey everyone, I'm back. Haven't really done much in terms of updates, but I did change a few things on my vacation from the schlog.

New Debug area, playing with lighting and textures to try and get the aesthetic I want.​

First Person Freelook​

Mirrors mechanics from Metal Gear Solid
In the future you may hold right click to ready slingshot or item and press left click to fire.

Oh yeah, I need to add controller support and probably prioritize it.
In it's CURRENT state, Engel doesn't look like he fits into this world, he's too vibrant and bright while his surrounding are very dull and desaturated, try brightening it up so Engel doesn't stand out too much.

i did all of that in like a day because i was bored and had no internet
downloaded paper textures in the last car trip to old house. i actually bricked my family wii btw, it's fucked, i'll need a NAND flasher to fix it.
thankfully dolphin emulator is keyed and I played wii sports with family by downloading a rom from the internet.

not much work has been done tbh, more needs to be done, like adding UI elements and camera limiting areas and changing the debug area to look like it's FPE, I guess. I used to have no lighting but when I added lighting it added so much detail that I liked it more.

On one hand i enjoy the idea of a dimmer setting, but since you said something about there being day/night modes in the game, how about you have this setting for night and a much brighter setting for daytime that's similar to the original animation. It would help with variety and atmosphere.

The textures are hand drawn however, but the paper overlay, I got from google, added it because I thought it would give detail. The brick texture I made in Krita.
I think maybe it just doesn't look right, the environment needs more studying and maybe 3d objects need a TOON SHADING OUTLINE o algo
