This is true, Kaite's designs were truly original and diverse in their own right (for all the wrong and right reasons), but MOST of these designs always feel like they are trying to fit in with what Kaite did, just look at this guy called "Mister Hotchkiss", he's literally what you think of when you think "generic FPE character".

True this is just some random self insert, they never try original concepts.

He also has a prosthetic leg (papercraft), besides that and the stapler he's a very generic character.
He's also 10 feet tall but take that with a grain of salt since i'm not sure about that.

Oh yeah i didn't notice this, personally i feel that it's not disrespect to the original color palette but rather them trying something unique.
