I'd imagine that the "paper" thing is just a filter that Claire sees paper school as, it's how she sees the world, when Alice busts out of her containment room, the world suddenly unpapers.
But thats not a solid theory, this art exists and Alice doesn't seem to be made of paper, so are some characters paper whilst others are not paper? Is it 3D paper where they are origami or are they 2D?

i'd like to believe the world is a fictional fantasy world that has different rules or something and maybe alice is a lot like a god figure.

anyways if i continue my project i intend on redesigning the characters to make characters like alice to be less human like and more akin to a beast or a creature that must be contained rather than a human capable of experiencing love, furthermore, evil characters would have slightly blue-ish skin and circles around their eyes aswell as some sort of disease considering the cannibalism. i imagine miss circle to be a very psychotic woman who hates children and honestly wants to do nothing more in life than kill children or go from school to school, eradicating most of the students and filling up society with bullies like edward and oliver.

Besides, you've actually given me a MUCH better understanding of FPE, without your input i would've just treated these characters like plushies, your SMART (and autistic, expected from a Schlogger)

the shipping is probably why people hate fpe-guys so much
i should honestly probably try as much as i can to differentiate myself from fpe niggers but idk if thats even possible, i see myself more as a creative spirit who seeks opportunity and not as someone who actually enjoys this hollow shell of nothingness. perhaps i should only post my efforts in a different thread as to differentiate if from the wider fandom of "fpe" by focusing solely on the technical aspects and the creative side of worldbuilding etc

Kaite herself has actually said that it feels "heartbreaking" whenever it's Alice or Oliver shipped with another character
Also @Soygoy, any updates on your stealth game? I assume that once you are caught doing something against school rules a chase sequence begins and you have to hide until a cooldown meter goes down and the characters stop their search for you (personally i'm not to keen on this idea)
There could also be multiple endings too, and you could have a part in the game where Engel helps other students evacuate the school

Hey, just for you since this is your main platform, i will calm myself down on this thread, all things related to shipping and simping will go in my echo chamber, we'll use this thread for theorizing, meta discussion and project discussion.

On one hand the artist has drawn it in their own style, leading to some confusion (see the spikes on her elbow, those weren't there before)
But the point brought up here is very good, i want to say hard skin but that contradicts with my theory that Engel's skin has fur on it, however since FPE characters have no necks i'd say that only Engels head is fluffy.
