Fucking tourist, you should change your picture out of principle then.

Comedy in anime usually fucking sucks tho so I'd watch this video its a pretty good dip into the puddle
(this video actually taught me that Yostuba is more than just the 4chan mascot geg)
gintama is aryan kys pokézoophile

He actually says its good in the video, maybe you should watch it before jumping to conclusions.
looking at thumbnails is enough, watching 20+ min snca video essay is a waste of time also I just needed an excuse to call you a pokétranny

I'm feeling bored so I think I'll watch one of the episodes today, too, to see what the fuss is about, since it sounds interesting. The only cartoon I've ever sat down and commonly watched every now and then for the past few years has been King Of The Hill. Is King Of The Hill "slice of life"?
I've just finished watching the first episode. My thoughts are that it is terrible, I have no clue how someone could enjoy this unless they're a lunatic. This is why traditional American values will always triumph over whatever the hell they're trying to display in their media from across the sea. I just don't understand the point and lesson it was trying to make, at all. Let's compare it to something good, an episode of King Of The Hill, for example; episode twenty-one of season two, "Life in the Fast Lane, Bobby's Saga". Just within the intro sequence, where Boomhauer is pulled over by the cop, there are several displays of clear, ironic comedy to get the viewer intrigued. The episode then continues on with the show's iconic humor while culminating into two primary plots; Boomhauer gets caught up in a local car race to fulfill his dream of becoming a NASCAR pace car driver, and Bobby, encouraged by monetary gain to purchase a new bicycle, gets a job as a soda boy at the raceway. These two plots eventually culminate into the rest of the episode after around seven minutes of initial set-up, providing a proper lesson to the viewer about arduous labor and unjust employers, and providing the plot with a set objective to advance things forward with the episode's story (the central point being Boomhauer's participation in the race, which is why they're originally all at the raceway). Meanwhile, this crappy oriental cartoon just lacks depth. "Oh, wow, she's awkward and did something embarrassing, again!" Sure, the character is drawn all cute and such, but the show itself? It sucks, quite simply.
