Shit No One Cares About why are people in r/aquariums so stupid?

SNOCA is the superior and schlog endorsed version of SNCA. It is grammatically consistent and shlog-user preferred.

>rescuing a fish
okay, why didn’t his neighbor have like a hospital tank or a small cycled tank in case for situations like these?
>having a 500 liter/135 gallon aquarium filled with nothing but microscopic SNCA shrimp the size of your fingernail
this is more of a nitpick, but if you have a tank that size, which already puts you at the top 10% of fish keepers, why not put a giant ass monster fish in there that’s appropriate for the size? it will be pleasing to look at, it might actually develop a bond for you, and not be some microscopic creature who’s barely visible.
>no fish has ever been in that tank before
why the fuck would you buy a tank that size or have it made and only put shrimp in it?? wtf??
>the entirety of the shrimps were murdered within 48 hours, 150+ of them.
did you not see this coming? electric blue acara cichlids are assholes. and would happily eat whatever could fit in their mouth. so much money on livestock was wasted in such a short time.
>one of the shrimps it ate had “ich” and now it’s infected and probably going to die.
first of all, it’s not ich, it’s epistylis, but everyone in the thread told him that it was ich, so he’s probably going to give the fish medication for ich and turn up the heat which could potentially be lethal, and then kill it.

great, everything you’ve done was for the worst, and now mostly everything in that tank is dead. if you don’t know what i talked about at all in this thread, what this guy did was basically have a very large farm of bunnies and then “rescue” a rabid dog with rabies who promptly killed all of them.
