Discussion What would you do if you had a son in the current year who confessed to you he had tranny feelings?

You are raising a boy and for some reason you didn't monitor his access to the internet and he comes up to you at age 13 and says "Dad, I'm a transgender lesbian and would like to be your daughter, not your son." He doesn't have much femininity in him and was a normal-ish boy.

idk... beat him with a belt? It feels like you are asking, "How do I save a man's life after he has been gored in half by a train". I think the real answer is, "hope you have another son". Once your son is saying he wants to troon out, he is probably a lost cause. Maybe in 15 years after you disown him, he'll come back a broken and pathetic husk of a man admitting he was wrong, but past that there isn't going to be much consolation. You should have raised him right when you had the chance.

1. A good beating.
2. Take away every bit of technology he has, zero access to the internet.
3. After these two it will be time for a hunting trip or some shit like that. Purpose is to inspire some manliness by teaching him this kind of stuff. Plus it would take his mind off the tranny thing.
4. More beatings if this doesn't work.
5. Beat the shit out of him with a construction metal like my grandfather would do to my dad if all of the above doesn't work.

Honestly the situation feels so alien. Trannies aren't common nor are they discussed in any way where I'm from. I guess if it did happen, the average dad here would respond with even more severe beatings than I would respond with. Really, pain is a good teacher even if it may not be nice for a moment. You westerners should beat your kids some more, they'll turn out better.

Physical punishment has it's place, i don't think this is a case in which it is necessary.
The rod is a great tool for when your son sins in pride and egoism, but when your son is genuinely confused and is corrupted against his will by the world, I don't think the rod applies here.

Good question, my parents never knew outright about it evendoe they had some heavy hints, so they really did not play a part in it.
I think I just grew out of it, but I also grew closer to God in the same breath, so I think that He definitely saved me.
