There are people out there who do believe in aliens. IMO not beliving in aliens is like going to the ocean and scooping some seawater out of your spoon and then claiming that sharks aren't real becuase there's no shark in your spoon.

They're a group of alien religious fanatics that worship an ancient alien species but those ancient aliens designated humans as their successors so they started coping and genociding humans to hide the fact they aren't the chosen ones
Woah this is just like Homestuck but without the murder
I may have misread. In Homestuck, the aliens (trolls) created the humans but it's set-up at first as if the humans created the trolls.

of course aliens exist, fuckin’ universe’s too big for them not to. of course the only aliens in the solar system are SNOCA bacteria, but there could be some intelligent ones out there

I think there might be alien life out there. Intelligent/sentient life, however, is a big leap of faith imo. It took 4.5 billion years for us to get here and the sun will make this planet uninhabitable in another billion or so years. Another thing is that our sun is pretty rare when it comes to stars, most stars are red dwarfs which, while having a lot longer lifespans, seem to be a lot more violent for a lot longer after forming and the planets need to be a lot closer to them for them for liquid water to exist which means said planets probably get the atmosphere stripped away by the solar storms way before the star calms down.

How tf we gonna communicate with them unless theyre in within like 10 light years away?

I believe 80% of the stars in the Milky Way are red dwarfs, yes? Almost all of those are flare stars too. The only decent stars for life are K, G, and maybe F-class ones.

Yeah but I mean, we know that whales, dolphins, crows etc. are intelligent. We can't understand them either way and we're on the same planet.
They don’t really care if we understand them or not I’m sure another sentient species would help and try to find some medium.
