Froot seems to have a philosophy of keeping the sharty as centralized as possible.
I think this is bad and contributes to the staleness of the sharty.
I was recently watching something and it was talking about monopolies and how they destroy competition. Competition is good because it causes innovation, and pressures leadership to serve consumers better. If someone has a monopoly, competition becomes less of a worry, and they can shit out garbage because there is nowhere else for the consumer to go, and thus punish the leadership by depriving them of their consumption/relevancy. I think this applies to online communities as well.
The jartycuck meme, and to a degree the "hostile discord" panic phenomenon demonized splitner siting and served as a excuse to encroach on soyteen rights. It was kinda like how 9/11 gave the feds an excuse to do the patriot act. Now anyone who wants to set up an alternaitive site outside of frootcord LLC's sphere of influence is going to be shouted down as a peophile tranny by the userbase and then banned for being a "hostile offsiter", when they did nothing to deserve such treatment and nonsense accusations.

This unhealthy situation on top of the immigration crisis is what is making the sharty so boring in current year.

If “competition” leads to child pornography then “competition” is bad.
Besides, Froot doesn’t blanket ban people who just use discord, twitter, etc as long as they are not participating in anything hostile to the website. If any of those sites found groups trying to ddos or cp spam them, they are justified in protecting their services and property from those groups. Not every soyteen will want to use everything soyjak all the time, so in that essence there are still substitute services that Froot has no control over, averting the downsides and complacency of monopoly. Direct Sharty splinters are almost always trying to subvert the Sharty and make its experience artificially worse which I believe Froot is justified in taking measures against. Splinters that dont do this, like the churro or the youtube soysphere, are left alone and allowed to continue. Frootcord’s position of power is perfectly fine, the expansion of the soysphere would result in more services that are not Froot controlled via their obscurity, distance, or whatnot. A true monopoly over the Soysphere is unenforceable without force backing it up, like with DDOSing or a government.

Splinters themselves don't lead to degeneracy. I believe hostile to the entire soysphere disruptors have something to gain by sewing discord amongst the sharty. Look at the way the sharty is now compared to what it used to be. Would it be so out there to say that the discord cabal that wanted to ruin the site pretty much won? The site is a shithole now, most good posters have given up or run for the hills by now. Thats not demoralization, thats the literal truth. Sure, the illusion of security and relative safety from P/shock spam is there, but the site is a total DNB. Outside of non counting spam and awful lazy bait literally nobody cares about that doesn't get any meaningful replies, the PPH is virtually nonexistant. Have you noticed its getting harder and harder to have a real conversation or coordination that doesn't involve doxing or raiding? We are on a sinking ship, and now that everyone has been told that splinters are evil and you are a boogeyman if you use them, which dooms said splinters of an already decaying community, theres no way off. Once the ship hits the bottom, the only crew left will be sad davy jones ghost pirates like us who can't move on and the retarded bottom feeder brainless sea squirts and barnacles that latched onto the ship and made it sink in the first place.

It doesn't matter that froot allows some splitners to be alive, (as long as they are irrelevant or don't meaningfully compete with the sharty). The cultural stigma around splinters cripples any way out of the froot world order for this community (which has culturally died under said order btw)
