Sude Archive is dead? What the fuck is going on? How fucked are the 'ki pages?

The sharty just chews up archives and spits them out

I was looking into hosting my own Hayden instance but SudeArchive released out of nowhere while I was setting it up so I dropped it.
Might finish setting it up and host a public instance soon if SudeArchive is gone for good.

Really bad timing lol, I was testing something on the server.
slightly unrelated, but since hayden is really dumb to get it working with i'm writing my own archiver that will specialize in 'chiving vichan boards in a hopefully fast and simple way
Hayden is really nice once you get it working, the documentation on the github is years out of date but there's a command to autogen a config file which should be enough to figure out how to work it.

New archive just dropped. I got in contact with the guy who ran SudeArchive and he transferred it's database, the thumbnails and his patches to me so nothing's been lost.
I'm the developer of Hayden. Could you send me the patchset so I could implement it into the main fork? I tried emailing you but it's saying the address doesn't exist

RE: documentation, it's fucked because everytime I touch the codebase something drastically changes, so I kind of gave up on trying to keep it up to date. I'm also paranoid about people using it in production because there's still a few areas of the project where it's super fragile stop-gap code and I don't want someone stumbling upon that, at least not understanding the risks

The genconfig actions were there specifically so that even if I neglected the docs, someone could still figure out what to do. So I'm glad its worked in the way I intended
I feel like the software is much more ready for public consumption than when Angeleno was trying to use it, so I'm chipping away at fixing the documentation.

Otherwise reach out if you have issues or want more features, I want to help if it's needed. There's a schema upgrade ready to be pushed but it'll need manual migration; I'll write instructions for that too.

Ah sorry about that, my email is balrog@goatse.email. There was a typo in the address I put on the info page.
I'll put the code on a github repo and send it to you, most the changes are soyjak.party specific though.

There are a couple things I was going to attempt to patch in myself but If you're offering to help I'll open a few issues on your github.

I'll pick out the parts that I think would work across other sites then. Allay told me about a lot of the features he added which I'd be really keen on having

Send me an email or message on matrix if I don't respond to it in time, github notifications tend to get swallowed since I get so many of them from my other repos
Thanks again
