time flies by way too fast these days, honestly one of the best sonic games in a long ass time so much so that it feels like it only released like 4 or 3 years ago, not 2017 like bruh
things are getting old way too fast these days and companies aren't doing that good eitherm like sonic forces and that other game i forgot is absolute garbage bros
tf is nintendo even doing, mario wonder? with the goofy ahh voice actor and the switch that i never bought

really felt like so much happened in those years and now culture is beginning to slow down and stagnate, like the boom of technology made culture in general explode very rapidly and now that technology is not improving or going down the path of AI, culture is slowing down. maybe GTA 6 will fix everything? like idek but the fact that GTA 6 is coming out in 2025 is so weird to me like gta 4 to 5 only took 5 years but 5 to 6 took 12 years like damn, and I mean Damn.

like gta 5 is a great game still and I guess it is showing it's age but at some point games might end up looking so realistic that there'll be no such thing as graphical improvements anymore. which is hilarious considering that there used to be a time where super mario 64 was considered the most realistic game ever made and i do tend to agree just how weird it is because when i was younger i played gta san andreas on the ps2 and my mother told me to turn it off because i wasnt allowed to play it but i was backflipping and punching police and it looked so real to me but now it looks well not as good, i guess.

like i know the world isn't just vidya, but even music has gotten mostly shit these days, all the radios only play the worst pop songs ever created and the only good thing thats ever come out i guess is kendrick and drake beefing with eachother which the UK probably wont even play on their radios they'd rather play their gayass pop top charters instead of some good rap or something and it's the same with TV because all of the shit on TV is garbage these days like who the fuck is watching 12 episodes of the big bang theory, 4 episodes of come dine with me and escape to the chateau how fucking boring are people who the FUCK actually watches fucking hollyoaks like jesus christ

so basically nobody watches TV anymore and people only use the Radio for background noise which just blares shitty commercials at you half of the time so you might aswell keep it off and listen to your own playlist or something and hey even most people are complete cucks who use spotify instead of being keyed like me and just keeping your shit in an mp3 collection LIKE YOU SHOULD BE DOING! but whatever. i mean before computers really took off all people did was watch TV and now everyone is just on their phones and computers, so if anything technology has killed old culture in a sense, zoomers don't have time for religion or anything like that, their entire lives is like making shitposts on their phone app and waking up to see which youtuber got exposed for pedophilia that day.

but yeah i guess things are just gonna get slower and slower these days huh

I'd say I'm of the minority that was benefited by tech to help me further with my faith. I wouldn't have learned what I know just from now-and-then church attendance to some middle-of-nowhere Baptist church. The majority of the books I do read are online these days, for example. Sadly, however, that sort of case with tech is not the same with most. As you described, they devote themselves to idols of algorithms instead of their actual master.

never played splatoon, so many nintendo games i never played and probably never will play thanks to acking online support.

The 3ds was awesome. I find the Wii to be a poor system with mostly mediocre software, but I have a lot of nostalgia for it because it was my own console. Virtual Console is something I always loved. I have so many fond memories of buying retro games through it.

As for the Switch, well... I cannot argue with you there. You really just get the Nintendo systems for the software if we are being honest. I never got into hacking it for homebrew, but I wish I did.

Sonic Mania is a tanzanite tier game, its the best sonic game EVAR (except mirage saloon zone that place is ass). I am a Christian Whitehead stand to and through because they just did an amazing job with the game and I can replay it forever.

I stan 3DS I'm a shill for that nugget every single day because its the most incredible homebrew platform and I can play so many games portably, I basically beat pokemon emerald for the first time at work, so much kino in one tiny package. The switch is too big to fit on your pockets and the software is all just Wii U games, I own a Wii U so why would I buy a game I can get for free with my modded console, also every joycon I touch drifts and its unbearable, I can't even bring myself to play pokemon on switch its that morbid, that would involve sitting down and playing a game on my TV which is too much for me I prefer monitors.

like idk about you guys but if theres one thing i miss about nintendo its miiverse and the old community, sure the switch is for like mature audiences and stuff but it just feels so weird not having miis be there and not having spotpass and streetpass and stuff and i know adults playing games with kids is a bit of an issue or atleast it can be and thats why miiverse had to go because adults were also using it and some people were being really weird on it but like its genuinely so cool that you could pick up the 3ds after a long day, go to miiverse and talk about something random, take screenshots of your games, draw shit and send it to people, like you guys remember flipnote that shit would have been so fun but thats gone now

on the wii it was even funner because everything was it's own channel and the miis were fun to make and show off. like nintendo consoles should be for nintendo and sega games i guess not mature games in my opinion i dont wanna be playing some weird fucking hentai game on the switch (i only bring it up because while looking for switch roms to potentially play there was a surprisingly high number of those types of games wtff) or the wii or the 3ds or like call of duty right i wanna play fuckin uh animal crossing and wii sports resort and mario kart wii you get me?
