Reopen the Ban megathread and make ban reasons public

I agree with this. A lot of people joined after drama essentially became commonplace and it seems most people only care about drama about some namefag or metadrama. Even with the ban list and thread gone I still see people ask about jimbo. The site has devolved into a discord server where people just care about namefags instead of discussing topics and threads like it used to be and it's driving all the good users away since they don't see any value to this website anymore

Anyone who genuinely wants this site to improve should realize and acknowledge the fact this is the cancer killing the Shlog and why people are genuinely sick and exhausted of this site and end up quitting

And what does that have to do with the ban list?
The ban list serves only to show us who and why the mods are banning people that namenigger drama wasn’t caused by there being a ban list but by them just acting like annoying faggots even if the ban list still didn’t exist Terry and Jimbo would still be as infamous as they were now. That was because prior to the it being removed the whole x immigrant drama happend.

I didn't do it because of drama. I got tired of it being the place where janny was expected or obligated to respond to you over someone else's ban. The interactions between staff and users became more dysfunctional over time and it was a direct result of having that thread be the starting point of all conversation on the site. But it was good that monkey gave everyone a public reason to be banned rather than needing me to intervene.

The reason why people ask is because they can't just check the banlist.

And every 5 minutes some guy would come in and say "Marge what happened" and demand an entire explanation on the situation, despite a single mouse wheel scroll up explains why. Then repeat that 500 times over the course of a day and suddenly you have 100 pages over a single ban stretched to infinity because people keep logging in and asking what happened.
