I've never actually played this hack, nor do I know how to make playthrough threads, but @'gatorfag sl33p suggested this one, so I will be giving it a go. My current plan is to just post at various milestones and maybe record a battle or two if I decide that I actually want to.
I picked Squirtle because I like it, but feel free to lecture me on why I should have picked something else.

I always get female starters for some reason. It didn't say the gender when I was naming xer so I didn't consider it. We won the first battle thougheverbeit.

I've beaten the first gym after a bit of grinding to get 'mons I wanted to use. I admittedly threw the battle a bit but I wanted a lot of exp for my Squirtle so it worked out in my favor. Also, I always forget that you can't press up in the menus to get to the bottom, so no, I wasn't trying to catch the gym leader's Pokémon (even doe gigachad would do that because it's funny), but it sort of looks like that in the video.

I can't, Squirtle is the best starter, CHarmander is overrated and Bulbasaur sucks cocks

Chesnaughtcacas forgot to actually save the game, so here's the new gym battle.

>full team pre first gym
>Everyone above lvl 10

I also remember another pokemon fan game for the GBC, I think it was pokemon steel since it had a steelix on the cover; all I remember from it is fighting a team of lvl 23 to 25 grunts with a lvl 12 Squirtle then fighting a lvl 32 steelix on succession... All I did was walk a little south of a city and then engaging on that bullshit of a battle. What where they smoking back then?

I caught a lot of 'mons and I didn't feel like putting them all in the box before the gym. I only used a few of them.

There were a lot of 'mons I didn't like on the way there thougheverbeit

TSMT nearly every hack/fangame I see is some BS difficulty hack that's requires an unfun amount of grinding while having like no areas to actually grind in. To each their own I guess, I just don't find them that enjoyable, not after I've already seen it done so many times.

I haven't had the time to continue this very much today, but I'd like to comment on the quality of this hack so far. Very fun, very enjoyable thus far. Goes to show that modern using modern engines/adding a bunch of new features doesn't necessarily make a hack better, nor does making it insanely difficult right off the bat. I'm still figuring out the new typing, but I'm eager to keep playing tomorrow.
It has given me a few things to consider for my own future fangame/hack.

and playing on battle mode: switch NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH
I'm used to playing BS difficulty hacks that basically require it and I didn't even go into the settings before playing because the text was already perfect. I can turn it off it if Your Majesty requests it.

Already got my fourth badge btw, game been fun, and it seems like noibat is kinda bad since it lacks bulk or power to get going, struggles hard against the first gyms.

My team for the time being, Porygon is kind of goated and Magmar has been a nice addition for the team
