Janny guidelines update (copypasted from the janny conversation):
-All IP requests go through me
-Staff with access to IP addresses are not to post them anywhere outside of discussions with me
-Disruptive users will get axed before things turn into a conflagration (done by me alone)
-Staff are not to ban for reasons not listed in the rules; come to me for a ban request outside of what is listed
-If I don't say anything for awhile, it's not permission to do something.
-Bans for offsite communities should only be given by Mustard or me.
Future plans for the staff team
The staff team is too large and it always has been too large. Adjustments will get made to staff permissions and staff choices. The janny elections were fun but they've outlived their usefulness. Some bigger plans are currently in the works for the staff as a whole (think removing a gnarled shrub instead of trimming it constantly), but are not ready to announce at this moment. Sharty staff permitted to moderate the site will be limited to Mustard, and soon we will completely independent outside of the server arrangement.
(Editor's note: I appreciate and enjoy speaking with all of the current and former staff, but reducing staff levels has been my goal since I owned the party, and this goal has not changed)
New registrations
Registrations will be closed until everyone calms the fuck down over actual teenager drama, and I implement the new changes. Those about to scream, we had a 2-3 month pause on new registrations last year and nothing changed other than we had an actual gatekept community. You will survive.
