Microsoft has genuinely gone to shit, like I uninstalled Microsoft Teams because it would use so much RAM whenever I booted up my desktop.

the only way to use windows now it's by tweaking the shit out of it and even still it eats like 5 gb ram at idle

tsmt I unfortunately have to use win 11 at work and it's horrible, even worse is setting up a new win 11 machine, windows update goes out of it's way to fuck up everything and install non-functioning drivers
they really need to do a major rewrite, perhaps with a new architecture, but I doubt they will ever do that considering most people at MS who knew how to code low-level shit are dead, plus just reskinning the last version of windows and selling that is cheaper

I use Windows 11 so i could get datamined more effectively, datamining is good because its da sharty culture or something

My Thinkpad T470 which runs Xubuntu only eats like 1 GB of RAM while idle, and usually it is less than that.
