I don't know how to explain this very well, but over the past few years I've started developing a chronic sense of "tension" in my head. It's like a tension headache except it doesn't hurt physically. Like my head has a weighted blanket inside of it.
Anyway, it's also like a mental itch where it makes me do really stupid/impulsive stuff that I wouldn't ordinarily do. When I'm in this state (which can last several hours) my cognitive functioning is slightly impaired as well, I'm not able to think coherently and string together my sentences as easily.
The only way to shut it off (or at least dampen it) is by taking ADHD zog medicine. But even with that it's still always there, and it goes beyond the simple inattentiveness of ADHD. I can get pretty self-destructive with it.
Do any of you know what this might be? My father and sister have Tourette's (diagnosed) but I don't think it's that. Maybe I'm making this up or exaggerating things, idk anymore.

I'm not sure what this is, but sometimes I get agitated for no reason and need to move around and feel like leaping out of my skin. The thing about the tension reminds me of depersonalization pressure, are you depersonalized by any chance? I haven't picked up that kind of vibe from you yet but that's hard to pick up on due to it's nature. Depersonalization is basically feelings of unreality in relation to one's self, for example "I have emotions but don't feel them" among other symptoms. It's quite hard to explain so I recommend you do research. It's different from DID but half the resources are about it because it's flashy and "cool" and "lol im so quirky xd." Hope you find peace one day.

'Brain fog'. I'd recommend taking fish oil (omega-3) or having more fish in your diet and to lower consumption of junk food, that'll make it worse. Also, sleep better, if you stay up at until midnight often.::Awesome::

Does this happen when ur alone mainly or with other people too? It could just be rlly like built up overstimulation if you do a lot if stuff daily. I have something entirely different tbh but i act crazy when im alone or not preoccupied with something. Maybe something in your environment has changed? Im sorry u deal with it though it must be really difficult.
