I hate Sonic’s platforming. It’s supposed to be about speed yet the game will do everything in its power to put roadblocks and traps you have no way of reacting to fast enough. So you have to take the levels slow. At that point I’d rather play Soyrio even if it’s piss easy.

I havent played much sonic.
the ones that I have werent as fun as mario.
also soytendo makes more high quality games that sega or however the consoles are warred

I'd like to say neither but mario is better among the two, sonic was never a good game, it's a silly game with questionable design:
