Listening to System of a Down makes me dislike Armenians

That song about the Armenian genocide has such a good melody but the lyrics are so cringey and pathetic. It's just them crying about getting BTFO'd a century ago, it actually makes the Turks sound badass if anything.

The problem with Armenians is that they are a victim culture like the Jews. "Oh the Turks, the Arabs, the Azerbaijanis, they have oppressed us so much, we are a warrior culture but we talk endlessly about how we got pwned". This is in spite of the fact that they arguably have much more to be proud of than the cultures to the south, as Armenians did fend off many large empires in history. It's kind of like how some women talk endlessly about how they were raped. Like, yeah, I feel bad for you, but... This is embarrassing... I don't wanna hear it #TMI

Armenians are also often very subversive, claiming that the Indo-Europeans came from Armenia and whatnot. At least Turks don't try to wewuz, they do the opposite. They say "We turks are from Turan, we are not Greeks". Yes, they claim a symbolic inheritance from Rome, but this is not them claiming credit for the Byzantine or Roman accomplishments.

Do I prefer Azerbaijanis? I can't say I know a single Azerbaijani nor do I care for them. They are not Turks, they are Persians who speak the incorrect language, so this has no bearing on my opinions about that ridiculous countrywar.

Playing GTA V makes me hate Armenians and love Azerbaijanians or whatever because the only Armenian is clearly a stand in for a Jew and rips people off with his car dealership while the only Azerbaijanian is some poor sop who got his life ruined by glowies for no reason

I understand what you mean. I don't think that their "genocide" even qualifies as such, yet they whine of it so frequently. It was a brutal revolt, backed by Armenian terrorists (actual terrorists, as in, people who to this day want to bomb public spaces for their political cause), that killed a lot of Armenian and Turkish innocents, and the genocide narrative itself was pushed by racist Turkophobes like that slimy Jewish treasurer, Morgenthau, who was trying to gather up a good justification for the U.S to join the war against the Ottoman Empire. Even besides that, so many Armenians also try and hold the modern government of Turkey accountable for that genocide narrative, as if no distinction is to be made between the government of Turkey preceding and following the First World War. It's really ridiculous.
