I have a question: how bad would it be to install a distro on a MacBook white from like, the 2010 or something? I have one, just needs a new charger since the previous owner let rats munch it.

Not sure, i dont have a macbook but i already saw libreboot support for one also, as long as its amd64 or x86 and not some arm its fine

How do I get started with the penguin OS? I have a shitty 2012ish netbook with a 1 GHz CPU and 2 gigs of ram that I would like to try linux on.

I barely understand it, but I use nobara (a version of fedora but with uhh some stuff for gaming). I switched from windows because of the unironic faggot stuff on my taskbar and wanting more privacy. I've been enjoying it much more than windows I have to say, but it was hard to get everything running correctly (for example my audio sounded like it was in a can until I messed with drivers)

Recompiling my kernel cause screen didnt work, now trying without using the automatic config make command thingy, if this fails i will disable the bootup framebuffer linux penguins [angry] [angry] [angry] Selfish Little Fuck

guix distro works for me
I was thinking about installing guix on my 2nd librebooted dell latitude e6400 since i got a 256gb ssd, but i decided to install gentoo, it installed openbsd on it before i got the ssd

i have 3 dell latitude e6400's btw, one has trisquel, other has parabola and the other one is just compiling gentoo

For all of you linux chuds, what file system would you use on for example a gentoo or arch or artix or whatever install, i like xfs and btrfs
