ITT: We post even if we have nothing to say

Because I enjoy writing code, also i already spent money on the credits so it would be a waste to switch degrees now. I'm nearing the end of my associate's degree before I transfer out of community college
i get it though, i wish i could have studied a major i really liked in college but the costs associated with getting a degree arent worth it to me

still ive heard of alot of opportunities with software engineering. i mean after all cant you get like a medium paying IT job with it if everything else fails?
no because all those jobs went to india, and for the ones still in the us they only hire people with experience now
maybe some day i'll be able to "work up" to a software engineering position if the place i work at decides to hire in that department. Wishful thinking i know

fpe wars are over and joel won. /fpe/ is a deadnigger wasteland

I was looking at markiplier pfp while wiring this without my eyes on the keyboard di dI do alright

even then they usually like to keep a team of IT professionals around in big buildings. do you plan to or do live in a big city? if so then you probably have some good opportunities there. Most people are technologically illiterate (especially the avg zoomer ofc) so you'll for sure have a place there

anyways the work day is over for me so im going to leave you guys to your toys
traffic is a bitch that takes an hour to fuck so im going to leave quickly

i live in a relatively small city, not even half a million people, so local opportunities are few and far between

I been doing research into 4 year schools too, I hope I can get scholarships to finish my 4 year degree and I can become an engineer proper.
