"namefagging" has always been a thing even before xitter and 'pcord, obviously. There were/are forums but a lot of them spiraled into niggerdrama not so different from what we see today on those aforementioned hellholes. At least, with the soy adminwars the admins/mods were very few and the majority were just nameless, faceless, and soyless chuds who served as a power balance against admins due to the nature of the situation. Doe, I suspect I'm giving too much credit to the anon chuds. Nevertheless here WE are, all namefagging. Was the Shlog damned from the very start?

Is there no hope?
