as I began researching about the Aryan Invasions of the Indic Subcontinent. Many Poojeets online say its a myth and Indians are the true aryans, while most historians accept that the Indo-Europeans invaded the Indic Subcontinent. Is it a myth or not?

Theres a lotta old information from the 1800's that clittycels still believe in so let me break it down for you
>invasion
They were more like migrations over the course of a couple thousand years. The steppe tribes that came to be known as "indo-europeans" slowly migrated since the place they originated (caucuses/pontic region) has very little resources and they have to constantly live as nomads like every steppe tribe ever has.
Over time they split into different groups with similar languages and settled in regions of eurasia, mixed with the inhabitants, and eventually became the majority of the population throughout much of Europe and Central Asia at the time.
Since there were barely an written records at that time, the only example of an indo-european invasion that I can think of is the Mycenaean invasion of the Minoans. Most of the indo-european expansion was through nomads traveling and settling in areas over the course of many years.
Now they did use horses/chariots to travel and perhaps invade small enemy villages, but large-scale invasions and violent events were uncommon.

so yes, aryans did settle in india, but it wasnt an invasion per se.

hinduism started in endia saar
It originated in the indus river valley around modern day pakistan, its a fusion of various beliefs and the indo-aryans arrival blended their culture with the indigenous people of the region and basically became that.
