Serious Is learning chemistry aryan?

I've been thinking if expanding my knowledge of chemistry is ever gonna be useful. I've liked it in school, but I remember very little of today. Is getting myself a lab kit for home use aryan? Is knowing chemistry aryan? What do you think?
