My uncle had an old ass Lancer when I was a kid so I have a bit of nostalgia for the model
I don't know much about the newer Lancers but from what I can tell their CVTs are at least a little bit better than the ones in the Nissans (as in they'll ACK at 100K miles if you don't replace the transmission fluid around 60K or so, otherwise they'll be okay)
