I hate the captchas not only because they waste like 6 seconds of my life and feed some AIdemon, but more so because they provide me with a moment of clarity.
I'm often times entranced into my browsing of switching between different tabs like a cocaine addict, "in the zone", but then I'll try to open the 'ru or the 'ki and be hit with a shitty captcha that completely takes me out of it. At this point it hits me how much time I've spent browsing, the responsibilities I should be attending to, the things I wanted to do, the sun fucking rising behind me. It's like a dopamine crash having to solve the captcha that makes me feel like doodoo. Horrible, atrocious.
