I'm very glad I got to spend my highschool years in person. I spent too much time alone in my room as it was, God forbid I didn't have real life friends to hang out with, mock me when I'm a retard, etc.
Online school is something I see with a lot of the more "prominent" people involved so maybe it's a lack of social experience.
