Who harvests children's blood at hospitals? I never got my blood taken (which is why I don't know my blood type, it's not even written on my ID)

I got my blood drawn multiple times by nurses as a child... sometimes they don't even tell you why they do that. Fuck even knows where it goes to. Fuck this shit.
