I noticed a lot of complaints about gore after the soypocolypse even though it was never that common. Unless you count dnb and tnd.

yes
but it is somewhat fascinating seeing it sometimes, it really makes me feel weird because i've lived my life without ever seeing someone's guts irl. makes me remember i'm human and can die. in that way it's powerful i guess

I dont have too much bother with T_D. Its usually just like "oh that nigger died geg."
DNB makes me uncomfortable. I really do not like bad things happening to children, and thats just too cruel. But its been spammed so much im not sure if I still care (I hope I still care)
Guro turns me off. Mutilation should not go with sex.

I don't like seeing people die.
Similar feelings here. I don't know why gore is so widespread on the "less mainstream" parts of the internet (wordswordswords incoming). I don't see the value in posting a (possibly) innocent person dying. I know hundreds of people die all over the world per hour for different reasons but seeing it just makes me uneasy. Doubly so for animal/child gore.

animal gore is the worst. gore is already just for safe edgy losers. the only reason gore is "ok" is when your raiding a faggot. but animal gore is just fucked up. I think everyone from the sharty, to the frogs, to the zeligs, to the jarty can all come together and say animal gore is extremely fucked up

The actual gore doesn't usually, but I don't like thinking about their suffering or someone they loved never seeing them again.
The fact that people spam it as a joke or attack is also pretty gross to me. I get uneasy seeing it spammed even if i don't really see the actual gore.

I never spam gore, It’s pretty disgusting watching beheaded ethnic dudes, or guys literally dismembered.
Side note; DNB is and will always be my least favourite aspect of the sharty. Dead babies will never be remotely funny. Shit unironically pisses me off. Especially the guys who unironically use it. Like fuck off, how can a literal black baby being murdered bring joy to you

I think people became more aware of foodists spamming DNB and TND and wanted to stop it as a whole

When you see the personality of someone in a gore video I think thats when it hurts the most.

seeing someone die is one thing. but seeing them talk and laugh before it happens makes it tragic

seeing them scream like a human makes it haunting
(traumatizing but there is no gore)

Everything that isn't pajeet vs trains and Brazilian babies being sacrificed to Moloch.

Excessive/slapstick gore in cartoons bothers me

there was a documentary on it that i saw and just watching the video was haunting. but learning that it hit her and shattered her eye as there were children in the car and the huband has to live with this forever and the guy who did this never got charged or found is just awful

What probably distances people as well from the facets of reality in death when they see people die on their screens is that the physicality and the consequences of that physicality are ripped out of the sight of the dying. Maybe I've spoken of it too much on here to an annoying extent already by talking about it on my profile, but seeing my brother writhe around in a semi-conscious state last night as he lost his senses and rabidly cried out gibberish during his attempted suicide gave me a much different sense than just seeing some image of a dead body. There is both that personal, emotion connection to this concept, of seeing death, alongside the physical humanity of seeing a person's body react to whatever damage is being inflicted upon it that also plays a role in the division of our reactions, between the screens and the eyes. You can see a person flung out of a car twenty feet into the air on your screen and simply think "Ouch", and then you can see that in reality and there is an innate tenseness in your head of reactional urgency; your throat will tense, your mind will struggle in the empathy of their pain, your heart will pump to give you energy for action to aid them. All of that is lost when it is viewed without reality, on the screen.
