I think DOAWK is a great piece of media/literature, due to the humor, art, and story. The book series follows Greg, a kid who just entered middle school, and the wacky plots Greg gets into throughout each story. The main plot of the first book is that Greg wants to become popular, no matter what, so he tries everything to do so, miserabley failing in reality. A reason I believe it's an amazing series is due to it being super funny, like how they keep mentioning how Greg is terrified about the muddy hand in Dog Days (The 4th book in the series), the characters feel realistic, yet also comical due to Greg's view on people seeping into the stories which always make me giggle. My favourite character is Greg, as he is definitely the most relatable character of the cast, I can relate to his struggles and can cheer on when he wins/succeeds. My favourite book in the series is probably either Dog Days, or The Third Wheel as they convey pretty interesting stories, like how Greg struggles throughout his Summer break with his new dog and plenty other events that happen (Won't spoil much), or in The Third Wheel where Greg struggles to find a date for the Valentines dance which was funny seeing him try to find a date, inwhich, Rowley ends up practically stealing his date. The illustrations are a huge plus to the books as they help convey what is happening if you don't quitee understand through the text, which can make a page way more funny and interesting, like how in the first book, it shows us the trees (including Greg) all throwing apples at Patty. With all the reasons I have listed, I can safely say that DOAWK is a great series that everyone should read.

I recently found out that a lot of those "DOAWK parody accounts" on Twitter from like 2018 are still active

I still buy the books every time I go to Costco geg, here's a tier list of the books I've read
