I have a Quest 2 that I used for Half Life Alyx and then never touched it for about two years

i should finish that game, i only ever started it but then i got busy
it can be very fun when you play singleplayer games, and on multiplayer games its usually trannies but not as many as you'd think (they're too busy grooming kids on vrchat) so multiplayer vr games are somewhat playable

I haven't and never will touch VRChat in my life

please dont ever, it is complete niggerhell
a long time ago i tried it out and saw an avatar with csam on it it hurts and of course the insufferable trannies and faggots too
at least raiding it with some friends at the time was funny
but singleplayer games are good, especially half life alyx like you said, good campaign games
havent talked about pavlov much, its actually a pretty good spot to go to for multiplayer (the pc version), few trannies and faggots but most of the time there VILL be leakage and it IS funny

alternatively, if you just want to relax playing vr or something you could always boot up vivecraft with some mods or shaders and just make a home in a rock wall or something
if you do play that THOUGH, get distant horizons mod so you can see everything
heres a screenshot i took in vr with it and some shaders a long time back

I've tried HL Alyx and while I enjoyed what I played on it I also played it on some old ass shitty Vive headset my library had so it wasn't that great of an experience.
I'm waiting on Deckard to release before I buy a headset for myself, seems like it'll release around the summertime

never heard of deckard, from what i'm seeing its some 'nu valve headset? i might look into it more but dont see much
i remember having an old shitty headset as well, but it was a beat up oculus rift instead of vive. i think my first game i played on it was skyrim vr i dont know my brother showed it to me
i still have a rift actually, a new one with the wire, but what i use right now is a (((quest 2))) with some extra attachments for longer runtime
only thing i bought on that thing was virtual desktop so i could play my heckin vr steam games [soy]

Yeah it's basically the Index 2 plus it works standalone as well, I think we'll probably see a release sometime this year or at the very least 2026, there's controller models datamined as well as murmurs about an unreleased Half-Life game reaching its final stage of testing, this year is going to be a big one for Valve for sure

Before that I bought an HP Reverb but had to return it because it wasn't compatible with my laptop
that sucks
i always wanted something like an hp reverb but was stuck with the rift
i did get a new headset though, but it was so shit i immediately sent it back and got a refund. it was that one vive pro headset that everyone shat on because of how back it sucked
after that, i got the quest 2 and have used it ever since

very cool, hopefully knowing valve it does something new and brings something cool to the table other than it being another headset
i'd like to see it come with trackers or something with fully integrated movement and have it be a core game feature or whatever
maybe something more subtle like splaying the fingers out? who knows
what i'd primarily be interested in is durability and things like resistance to spills, water or sweat in general as well as prioritizing comfort when wearing it
some extra maintenance tools and screws or batteries would be nice too

Seems to be an inside-out tracked device much like the Quest or Vision Pro even
I do hope this headset is more durable, from what I head the Index has a pretty bad reputation when it comes to reliability, I hope their experience with making Steam Decks helps with this regard

I have a reverb g2 and I still enjoy it, but Windows and HP are going to throw out all compatibility in a future update in a couple of years which sucks. It has a really good display too.
H3VR clears, >though I found a vrchat world where you fly jets and that’s fun as well

you would hope so but all we can really do is see how it pans out
if (((they))) are going to jack up the price, something like the aforementioned toolkit that comes with it could be a very nice addition
it could contain a manual, microfiber cloth, a support line for any tech problems (DO NOT REDEEM), some tools for maintenance, and also some spare parts if they make it like that or maybe some extra plastic battery covers or something

h3vr is where its at, i love h3vr and the gunplay [wholesome]
do you play anything else like pavlov?

no because i’m afraid it might hypnotize me.
