Serious Do you people actually like Hip Hop and Rap?

If so, for some of you who use this site, wouldn't this be a contradiction of your values? Otherwise, what is the genuine appeal behind it?

I get the shit from the 1980s and 1990s, stuff like Bell Biv DeVoe, Run-D.M.C., Us3, De La Soul, Tone Loc, and guys like Big Pun.
But a lot of what you guys seem to partake in is shit like trap, Soundcloud rap and mumble rap.

I don't like listening to it, but gangsta rap is the only "controversial" art that actually makes people angry and people with real power want to censor (at least in europe), so I respect it for that reason.
