It's all bait and yet people still bite it. I don't think her life is as miserable as she portrays it to be but also it probably isn't very good, since it's proven she's stuck to a wheelchair (yes, she said this herself in a /qa/ thread), she's 21 years old and she hasn't done much with her life, etc. etc. I don't actually think she's killing herself because that's fucking stupid of her to do so, her parents still love her very much and support her every step of the way. Even if she's a functional vegetable there will always be at least two people who love her. And besides, this particular post was just attentionwhoring and nothing else. That's it. That's why she also keeps making these threads on "leaving" the Shlitty and becoming Christian. She just wants praise for "doing the right thing" (which I mean, it's good she's turning over to Christ, but this just seems like pity posting)

Well she's mentally disabled or has multiple mental handicaps however she isn't stupid to the point where she's blissfully unaware of her circumstances, so that's a fuckin' bummer.
And like you said, she's confined to a wheelchair at the ripe young age of 21 which actually has to fucking suck, especially if she ever knew a time without the wheelchair.

Other than that though, she's probably had it somewhat normal given her circumstances.
Also the Christanity shtick seems like more attention-whoring, first she's Pentecostal, then she's Catholic and then tomorrow it's going to be something else.

I don't believe she is mentally disabled (as in, retardation or some other inherited chronic condition like trisomy 21), however many suspect she has BPD or some other condition that affects her mood in a severe way; this perspective is interesting to me because if you observe the difference in posts between the @Fortuna account and her main one, you will see how easily she can change her tone. On Fortuna she was meek, shy, quiet, much unlike her original persona on the terrycrews account
