• Happy pride month, xisters of the schlog!

Did shlog win? or die? you decide.

This forum is deader than a carcass despite not banning retards like @Konata and @TeeRanney. Imagine how dead it would be if there were proper rules in place.
>Implying that it was ever more alive than this
Imo what's impressive is that it managed to retain this activity. It's not much, but it's a constant.
More than what other sites can claim

Objective answer : Shlog was dead from day one because it doesn't ban trannies, leftists and tranime lovers. That automatically makes it worthless. Even if it were to have hundreds of active users.

We're basically a "friend group" take that as you will

Xhey were right y’know. It typically has 30-60 users online at anytime. But it did take a few years to get there.
Few things:

1. Neets did not build that userbase over time, they are all looksmax or incels rejects who came recently.

2. The culture around the forum in 2020 was very different, if you showed those users the current state of neets, they'd all be horrified.

3. Blackpill shit went mainstream and this ensured more heckin' refugees from looksmax at all times, which meant more users for neets. This is where many of the retards on net come from.

4. Moderation in early neets was far more strict, perma bans were more common. Homos didn't get warnings, they simply got banned immediately with no chance of being unbanned, low effort was also not tolerated. I think if current neets was moderated like earlier times, more than half the users there would get banned. Including the current jannies.

To sum up my point, I guess you could say it "did get there" but like not really. A small forum with good users is a thousand times better than whatever the fuck neets is now. It got there by taking in just anyone, including literal trannies. I don't really count that as making it.

Well how isn't this forum a small but niche place ? Sure there's a few faggots left and right but apart feom konata there's no active one

There are literally 0 rules for joining or posting in this place, there is next to no moderation. That's why it will never be good. Anyone can come in and ruin the atmosphere even if it turns out well for a while. It is always easier to ruin something than to create it. See 2nd law of thermodynamics.
I talked to Broot about that.
Tho there's a silverlining, rulecucking can go too far

There should be as few rules as possible. There are only two rules for a website that ever truly necessary. They are 1: don't post illegal stuff and 2: don't do anything that could get the site taken down
Anything else is just rulecuckery
