Best stretches before running?

Any non-static stretch for your legs and hips is fine. I used to do a ~6 mile run each day before lifting. After 2 years of this, I didn't notice the changes I wanted to see, so I cut back on my running. You shouldn't run every day, and the distance and speed are something you have to figure out on your own. Whatever you do, make sure to time yourself every run so that you can keep watch over your progress.

I love running, and I say be sure to stretch your core a little so it's not sore when you're done
