A girl I loved was in a dream of mine, but she's not real

I had a dream where I was with some friends, and there was a girl, who in the dream I was well-acquainted with but is in fact not a real person. I loved her, and it was quite clear she liked me in that way as well, but then when everyone got in a car I went to buy a pair of shoes, and they were gone. They didn't even notice I wasn't in the car. I wandered the city for hours, which appeared to be somewhat european-looking in architecture. I ended up in a parking lot, sitting, waiting. And then when I got some sort of text in the dream, I woke up. I think the sound of music in the real world was what woke me up (actual music, not the movie)

I'm really sad now. Have any of you ever woken up from a dream like this?

I keep having odd dreams of futuristic worlds
I had multiple dreams where there was commercial teleportstion and those dreams were plauged by a cancerous darkness in the teleportation halls, and it even lead to people fleeing via underground caverns containf entire oceans
My latest actually plesant dream i had i entered a odd massive teardrop shaped train that was more akin to a airliner with a atrium like interior, where i was sat next to a girl and started talking, when i arrived at a station i ended up having to run through the trainyard and jump from a train carrige onto a loading dock to catch the pod train home
