AncestryDNA used to show Southern Italians as having significant middle eastern ancestry, but I've never seen them shown as having Nafri DNA. That was back when there wasn't a Southern Italian or Aegean component, so they had to model Southern Italians as Northern Italian + something else. Ancestry tests are getting worse rather than better now though, because the best ancestry test would not provide people with what they're looking for (exotic ancestry) so who knows.
As for Spaniards, maybe some are just extreme outliers. Genetic studies have shown that Spaniards don't generally have more than 10% Nafri ancestry (and for some it is next to 0%)
But why did that southern Italian girl look brown and Arab? Also, wasn’t there North-African influence and admixture to Sicily and southern-Italy from ancient migrations?
