Sunligth gives energy to plants so they can turn nutrient matter into organic matter which is eaten by a creature that shits. The plants than use the feces for nutrients. You and i are made of shit.

But we are made of plants which are shit. The animals we eat either eat shit or eat other animals that eat shit.
The composition of plants is extremely different from us. Weren't made of vegetable cells.
