i dont have a PC, I have a laptop (Toshiba Satellite C55A). Tho, it's obviously pre-built.
Also, I'm looking into building a proper PC soon, I know well I'll need a lot of bays (3.5in mainly) and easy repairability. I want a decent amount of power too, but it doesn't have to be some extremely overkill setup. In fact, I'd want to make it just look like any regular desktop, except running Linux From Scratch.
I'm interested in having:
- 32GB DDR4 RAM
- 8 USB 3.0s
- 7-in-1 Media Card Reader
- CD--DVD--Bluray Drive
- 3.5in Floppy Drive
- Any Decent GPU, CPU, and Motherboard
- PS/2 Ports For Keyboard+Mouse
- Low Electricty Usage, Yet High Power
I can cut out floppys, some RAM, and front USBs if it saves tons of money. I'm not counting HDDs in price bc i have plenty to work off of and don't need ridiculous amounts of storage. And yes, I have an actual, genuine usage for floppys still.
I want PS/2 ports bc i want to also configure it in a way to where i can disable things like USB whenever i dont want them running, and i cant justify that if i cant use a keyboard + mouse *without* USB.
TLDR; No PC, me want PC custom-built, me want tons of bays and the ability to disable as much as i want out of either boredom or necessity, me like power but me dont wanna require much electricity.
